These silkscreen prints are inspired by memories of an amazing place called Chiconcuac, where I spent almost every weekend of my childhood.
Our house “Eco-Cali”, consisted of two palapas that we shared with our cousins. The days were long and there was not much to do other than make piñatas, string figures and friendship bracelets, swim in the green pool (at one point inhabited by toads), and listen to my mom’s wild stories on the walk to town. Those were great days.
