In the summer of 2015, I travelled to Chiapas, Mexico to collaborate with 3 different indigenous communities, through Aid to Artisans, creating clothing pieces and handbags that utilized their traditional techniques in a new shape or manner.
Each of the numerous communities in Chiapas has their own materials, designs, and techniques which they pass from generation to generation.
