I started drawing people in pools during the time I lived in Minneapolis and picked up swimming again to help deal with the long winters.
I began observing people underwater, heavy bodies became light as they floated and moved, kids in trance making water splashes, everybody in their own little world that smelled of chlorine and had rainbow circles around each light.
