I made these in late 2016, at one of Peter Hristoff’s fabulous Drawing Marathons. It was the end of the day and we had been drawing non stop since the morning. We were all submerged in our work and also very tired. I took a deep look at all the models in one of their last poses, and saw there was something so soft, vulnerable, and generous in their expressions and body gestures that I tried to capture in an intimate manner.
